I remember the feeling of impending doom as Summer would begin to wind down and September would creep closer. It wasn’t so much about a like or dislike of school so much as it was a bummer to lose the freedom and sunshine Summer held. Once school was back in session, the sunshine would be viewed longingly through the window instead of cherished in the fresh air. Thankfully, summer isn’t quite half over yet! But, it’s still time to start planning and shopping. So Emily Reviews will be sharing some posts in the next month or so that will hopefully help make the preparations easier. Today, we’re talking sneakers.
KLIPZ Sneakers offer a truly unique feature that kids love. Each sneaker has a KLIPZ accessory on the side. These fun collectable clips are available in a variety of themes for both boys and girls including: Avengers, BeyBlade, Captain America- The Winter Soldier, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Light Up, Marvel Comics, and Ultimate SpiderMan. Not to mention that the sneakers themselves are eye-catching too!
We spent a long time on the KLIPZ site before our boys settled on the Black & Yellow Cigar and Navy & Yellow Bode Sneakers. There were so many choices that the boys liked!
Each KLIPZ Sneakers came with a matching KLIPZ accessory as well as a bonus on the lid of the box. The kids had each chosen one additional KLIPZ too. After unboxing, the boys decided to change out their KLIPZ accessories right away. We had to pull the original ones off (not too hard as they are secure but do pull off nicely when gripped). Then, our 8 year old snapped the new ones on. There are several “snaps” around the edges of the KLIPZ accessory and I love the fact that you can hear each one attach. Once on, they look great and blend nicely with the shoe while staying securely attached.
The boys can run, jump, and play easily in their KLIPZ Sneakers and both say they are comfortable. If you look closely, you’ll notice that the shoes have different closures. Our younger son has the adjustable elastic strap which is very easy to use and our older son has a velcro strap to secure at the top. Both looks are stylish and give an awesome fit.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
