The saying “sleep like a baby” is often used to describe someone in a deep sleep. What happens though if baby has a hard time falling asleep or staying asleep? Not all babies, “sleep like a baby.” Sometimes little ones need help drifting off to sleep. One item many parents are turning to for help, are sound machines. I was recently given the opportunity to try a LectroFan Jr. sound machine.
LectroFan Jr., is equipped with 12 non-repeating white noise sounds and 18 shuffle play nursery rhymes. It has an adjustable volume level and can be USB powered (cords included). It also has a timer that gradually reduces its sound to encourage baby to gently wake up on their own. LectroFan Jr. is available in white, pink or blue.
Having a product that can help naturally ease your babies discomfort and sooth them to a restful sleep is priceless. Sleep is so important to a baby’s development and well-being. Without quality sleep, baby’s growth will suffer.
The sounds from LectroFan Jr. are clear and pleasant. I was worried that because of its smaller size, the sounds might to soft, or muffled but that isn’t the case at all. Speaking of its smaller size; LectroFan Jr. is small enough that it can easily be packed and taken with you when you travel. Don’t leaved babies comfort sounds at home; take them to grandmas with you.

I have a few lullaby CDs to get baby’s to sleep, just in case someone needs to borrow them, I still keep them. They are soothing to listen to for anyone really. This would be even better and you’re right, a great gift. I’ve read about the company from another blog and know they have some other good products too.
My youngest loves having white noise on when she sleeps, but we’ve had a hard time finding a reliable white noise machine that is small and portable but also durable. I’ll keep this one in the back of my mind! Thanks for the review!
