I am a Nutrisystem nation blogger. All opinions are my own.

Something that was difficult for Ryan before he lost 60 pounds with Nutrisystem was clothing. He used to wear baggy or slightly oversized clothing because he didn’t feel comfortable wearing clothes that were slimmer fitting. When he was a very young adult, it wasn’t a problem because that clothing was more in style. However, it got to a point maybe around 2013 or so, where it was unusual to see a 20-something guy wearing wide leg, baggy jeans. Ryan would never want to wear skinny jeans anyway, but he did get to a point where he wished he felt more comfortable in straight leg jeans, at least. Nutrisystem has made that possible for him. He’s been wearing straight leg or ‘regular fit’ jeans for the last couple years now thanks to the confidence he’s gained through his weight loss.

Erica's wedding

This past weekend was my sister’s wedding. I was a bridesmaid. With us both working from home online, we don’t dress up too often. Going through his dress pants, I realized that most of his dress pants were still really outdated styles that were big and baggy. However, he did have some chinos which are slimmer and more modern looking. He was able to find a shirt to match them with that he felt comfortable enough in to wear for the wedding. It was so nice that he was able to wear more modern styles at the wedding because many photos were taken.

I tried to go back and find photos from when he would dress up in older styles but I couldn’t even find any. He used to avoid the camera as much as possible.

It’s wonderful that the weight loss has given him back a cool wardrobe.

You both look so good. I know about the clothes. Don’t we all have several sizes in our closet. And we don’t want to buy more because we don’t know what our weight will be in a few months.

I just recently went through a pretty big fashion change. I had my youngest two so close together (they are 17 months apart) that it was so hard for me to get out of the comfy sweats and tanks/t-shirts. I found am clothing company that I loved and it has allowed me to look more grown up, even on most days when I don’t leave the house! 🙂 Thanks for sharing, you two look great!

Loving the wayit has given you both more self confidence. I have to admit to being a ‘baggy clothes’ wearer. My husband hates it, for me it feels better. I am at an age though where tight clothes just irritate me. I have my fat to skinny clothes ranging hree sizes.

Even though weight loss isn’t always as visible to others, I think a lot of the time it’s about how we feel inside and when we look in the mirror. Way to go – both of you!
