I was sent a bra barrette to review. I have to be honest here – I own 5 bra’s in total and the NEWEST of them, is over a year old. Sad, right? I know. I’m sure you can imagine how uncomfortable my bra’s have gotten, considering how old they are and how much they are used. None of my bra straps on any of my bras stay adjusted correctly and so i’m constantly fidgeting with them.
However, I heard about the bra barrette and wanted to see if it really worked – and it does! I was sent 3 sizes, and on the first day I tried to put the bra barrette on my bra by myself and it was really uncomfortable, so I wound up taking it off after about an hour. But then the next morning I asked my boyfriend to help put it on, and I instantly realized I had done something wrong the day before, because I could barely even feel it on, and after just a few minutes I completely forgot it was there. There is a video that shows how to put on the bra barrette which makes it very simple, but the bra I was wearing has really messed up straps that don’t lay flat at all, I can’t get them to untwist, even though I’ve sat and tried to fix it several times. Anyway, I think that’s why I had trouble putting it on myself. Anyway, that day went by great, no bra strap problems or discomfort. So then today I intentionally put on my worst bra in terms of the bra strap problems – to really put this thing to the test. and to my surprise, it worked great. I did realize that with the bra with the more stretched out straps, I used a smaller sized bra barrette than with the other bra – but I was given 3 sizes to try so this wasn’t a problem at all, but you might want to consider purchasing the two sizes you would guess yourself to be in between.
All day today has went great – no messing with bra straps and no discomfort! I really love these and recommend them to anyone with annoying bra straps. Plus, these come in several colors and with all kinds of different charms! My favorite is this silver one with a little heart
