Pirates Booty is a brand of ‘puffy’ snacks that is healthy! Some of their snacks are similar to cheetos, while others are corn puffs. They have a variety of flavors, and Pirates Booty was generous enough to supply me with several flavors to try out. They arrived in an adorable cardboard treasure chest, that I gave to my niece to play with, which I thought was a neat little extra.
Their snacks don’t taste like diet food at all. To be honest, I haven’t tried most diet foods, but the label given to them of course, is flavorless. But I really liked a couple of the flavors. My favorites were the sea salt and vinegar flavor and the real Wisconsin cheddar flavor. The sea salt & vinegar ones tasted like salt and vinegar chips only not as strong, which I love because although I love salt and vinegar chips, I can only eat a handful or so at a time before the taste gets overpowering and I have to set them down. So these were perfect for me. I also really liked the Wisconsin cheddar cheese ones!
My boyfriends favorite kind were the pizza flavored ones – they reminded me a lot of the pringles chips that are pizza flavored. Except Pirates Booty snacks are healthier which is awesome. The only flavor that neither of us cared for was the veggie flavor.
