I’ve been feeling chatty a lot lately. I’ve had a lot more personal posts than I had in the past, which is good because it was a goal of mine…I think I’ve met it :). Random stuff that’s been going on or going through my head lately…

We moved. I am so glad to be moved! Such a relief. We are moving again in less than a month. Crazy, right? Well we moved spontaneously. As in, we had been miserable because of our roommates situation for over 7 months and we finally got an ‘out’ and we took it. We live in a tiny town that has less than 1,200 people living in it, and 1000 of them are from the college that I attend. The nearest town is over 20 minutes away, and the town that we are moving to next month is close to half an hour away. So, it would be a long drive everyday, and would be particularly difficult because my schedule is silly, and I have 2.5-3 hour gaps between classes most days, so I’d have to either drive half an hour back to our new place, and then back, or else hang around for 3 hours doing…nothing. So, we opted to move to my boyfriends moms for a month until college is over. April 22nd is the magical day. So although we have moved we have unpacked as little as possible to make the next move easier. So although I’m very relieved to be out of our old place, it’s a little bit of a weird situation for the next four weeks because we’re half packed and what not.

One really awesome thing about living here is, my boyfriend’s brother still lives at home, but is expecting a baby anyday now. His due date was actually Saturday. So once Gabe decide’s he’s ready to be born, we’ll get to spend his first few weeks with him which is so awesome. I’m so impatient – it’s always so hard to wait on babies especially after their due date. I can only imagine how his mama feels. But i’ll have big updates once he is born!

Also, my sister is due in Mid august and gets to find out early next week if her baby is a boy or a girl. So excited for that too! My sister was super skinny before getting pregnant so she’s showing SO much which makes it all the more exciting for me.

We went out and bought almost 100 dollars in totes! We had nowhere to keep most of our stuff, and when we moved we used trash bags because none of the stores had boxes…So although the totes were much needed so we could fill them with stuff and then just make two huge stacks of totes…It was a bummer how much they cost. Most of what is in them is clothes…I’ve always wondered if those bags that compress clothing town really think actually work. I saw them at wal mart but they were 20 dollars for ones that said they held 8 sweaters. So I didn’t figure it was worth it when I wasn’t sure if they would work…Anyone tried them before? Are they reusable?

Jumping topics because I’m currently making myself a baked potato. I bought some potatoes the last time we got groceries and they started sprouting 2-3 days after we got them. Which is of course frustrating, but it means that we’ve been eating an unhealthy amount of potatoes as well, haha. I love potatoes though. I want to try to grow them someday. I remember having gardens multiple times as a kid but we only ever did the really basic stuff like tomatoes, pumpkins, watermelon, strawberries. I can’t wait until we can get a house so we can have a garden. Listen to me…we’re a month away from moving into a new apartment and I’m already talking about where we’re going to live after that. haha.

Tomorrow I’m leaving state on a field trip. We’re going to the Toledo art museum. Here’s a list of the times I’ve been out of state.
At age 3, to buy fireworks that are illegal here in Michigan. I don’t remember this trip.
At age 11, in sixth grade, with school, we went to the Cleavland zoo.
At age 13, in eighth grade, with school, to Chicago.
At age 14, with my aunt who took us to the Chicago Zoo.

Isn’t that sad?? This will be my fifth trip out of state. How sheltered am I? haha. My college runs 5 days a week (where as most don’t have classes on Fridays). We have Friday classes because Wednesday, everyone only has one class, and that class is a class that everyone with your specific major has to go to. This field trip is for all visual art majors. Our class starts at noon on most Wednesdays but web have to be there at 8am tomorrow because of this field trip. Definite bummer. After tomorrow, I only have to go to this class 3 more times though. Only 9 of each of my other classes left. So close!

Okay I think that’s the only things I have to ramble about for now. Hope you are all having a great week! 🙂
