This poor review has been a long time coming, but at the same time it’s one of the favorite things I have reviewed in a while. I didn’t know this before, but one of the best places to find really cute bathing suits is adult stores. They are just cuter and look so much better than traditional department store suits. When I found Yandy I checked out their bathing suits and just fell in love with this suit.

I was thrilled to find out that Yandy was interested in working with me and that I could review this suit. I had some mail issues and for a while thought that my hopes of reviewing this suit were long gone, only to have the suit show back up at the company’s address and have the pr rep offer to resend the suit. I can’t even explain how happy I was! It was very generous for the company to be willing to reship for me and I think that says a lot about this company.

When the suit arrived I was excited to get to try it on. Although I’m not nearly as perfect as the model shown, I still felt like this suit was really cute on me and I loved it. I wore it in our little above ground pool a couple of times and didn’t have any issues, though I did notice that the top band of the bottoms doesn’t have elastic, so the back band would kind of flop over a little bit and sometimes would show my butt crack which wasn’t cool.

However, for the 4th of July we went to lake Michigan and I wore this suit again. There was a red flag warning due to the huge waves that day. As soon as I stepped into the lake I about lost my bottoms. At first I was a bit disappointed, and kept trying to hold on tight to them as each wave came. However, my boyfriend suggested retying the sides (they tides are true tie sides, not just for looks), and I tightened them as much as I could without having them be TOO tight. That was the answer! After that I had no more suit malfunctions. However, I’ve noticed since then that if I put these on to wear around out of water, I’ll still naturally put them on much loser than needed for water use. So just keep in mind that using those side ties is the key.

I have washed my suit several times and so far it shows no signs of wash, wear or change. I love my bathing suit from Yandy!
