At my apartment complex we have a pay-to-use washer and dryer. Unlike most laundry mat dryers where you add 1 quarter for every 10 minutes (or however long), our dryer is 1.00 and then it runs for 45 minutes. So if your clothes need another 10 minutes, after it shuts off at 45 minutes you have to pay another dollar. Of course, it’s only a dollar but it is frustrating because the dryer doesn’t work all that great so I almost always have to pay 2.00 even though i only need about 1 hour worth of dryer time. It’s against my lease agreement to hang clothes on our balcony. I think that’s a bit silly, but it’s the rules so I have to follow them. So I was thinking that it would be nice to have an indoor clothes rack or clothes line to use to sort of finish my clothes off after the 45 minutes. I found the retractable clothes line on retractable clothesline. It allows me to use it when I need it without having to keep it in my way when it’s not in use. This has worked great for me and I find it to be a really practical solution, and the price is great.
Buy it: You can purchase a retractable clothesline like this one from organizeit.com for 11.99.
