As most of you know, I live in an apartment. If you have ever lived in an apartment you know how important space and organization are! Our current apartment is larger than our past living situations but organization is still important. One area where I have really struggled with organization in the past is with laundry. Our bedroom space is limited and it’s a pain to have three different hampers sitting out across the floor at all times. However, if we just keep one hamper out at a time, that means I have to throw all the laundry on the floor and sort it before it gets washed. Sometimes I throw all the laundry out to sort it only to realize that I don’t have a full load of anything so I just wasted my time. So when I saw organize world’s triple laundry sorter I thought this would be a great solution for us, and I was so right. I love this hamper so much. I feel a bit silly saying that but I really do. It’s made the laundry process a lot easier.
Before I jump in to the finished product, I want to say that when it arrived at my house and I pulled all of the pieces out, I was a bit intimidated. It looked like a lot of pieces! However, I was able to put it together all by myself within about 15 minutes, so it was much easier than it looked.
There are so many features that I love. One thing that I love is that each of the compartments are just the right size of a normal sized load of laundry. So there’s no guesswork. If one of the compartments is full, then I can do a load of laundry. So easy!
The sorter is a bit large, especially for our tiny bedroom. However, it’s on wheels which makes it really easy to slide it around if I need to get into the closet or into the dresser, etc. So the large size isn’t a problem because of how movable it is. However, I’m sure that in a regular sized home it wouldn’t be ‘too big’ at all, it’s just that our bedroom is so small.
My absolute favorite feature of the laundry sorter from organize world is the detachable bags. When I selected this item online for review, I thought that the three bags would be attached to each other. Seems how I live in an apartment, I have to do down to the basement to do laundry. I live in the third floor, so that means I go down 4 flights of stairs to get to the laundry room. Seems how I wouldn’t be able to haul the 3 bags at one time (if they were attached to each other) I thought I would have to use the laundry sorter to sort the laundry an dthen transfer the laundry into a basket before carrying it downstairs. However, the bags are all detachable, so when one bag gets full, I pick up just that one bag and carry it downstairs with me. So simple! I couldn’t find a problem with this laundry sorter if I wanted to. I just love it. I know that if anything ever happens to it I will be hunting down a new one because it makes my laundry process so much easier that I can’t imagine going back now.
