I’ve been trying to think of things to post about from my life and just haven’t’ been able to come up with anything which is why there’s been the lack of personal posts. It just doesn’t seem like anything interesting is happening lately I guess.
I’ve been in college for about 3 weeks now so the homework and all that has set in, which stinks but I always feel a lot better once the first couple of weeks are out of the way and I can feel more relaxed in class.
My 3 year dating anniversary is coming up in a month and 3 days so I’ve started thinking about what to get Ryan and just can’t decide. I’m a really bad gift giver, especially with him. I always have the urge to get him both something that he wants that is practical and such, but I like to do something sweet also, so I usually end up doing two different gifts, one for each purpose. However, getting 2 gifts just gives me twice as many options and decisions to make which just isn’t my thing. I’m so indecisive. So I’d love ideas for anniversary gifts. For our 1 year I bought him a spoon ring that I had engraved with our anniversary date. I kind of cheated though because he had told me that he wanted one, I just added the engraving to the inside, so it wasn’t really my idea at all, haha. Last year we went shopping together and let each other pick the stuff out, so he got some clothes and something else. I know it was from radio shack but I forget if it was something for his computer or his video camera? Something technical that I had no idea what it was, anyway. haha.
So I really have no idea what to do this year, though I’m hoping to go to dinner at our favorite restaurant even though it’s about 45 minutes away from us now and there’s nothing else in that town so we’d mostly be driving 45 minutes there and back for the sole purpose of eating at “our” restaurant. It’s so good though and we haven’t went there in months.
Oh, we’re also talking about moving again already, lol. Our roommate moved in last November, so we knew before we moved in that it wouldn’t be for real long, but the lease is up December 24th so if we do decide to move instead of renew the lease we’ll be moving like the first week of December, so that we can avoid having to move too close to Christmas. Moving in December, in Michigan?? Brr!
We might just renew the lease though we aren’t sure. It seems crazy to me though because I feel like we just got adjusted here, even though it’s been a few months now.
Okay I’ve rambled on long enough, I’m going to get started on the next review. Got great stuff coming up 🙂
Hi there! I am Emily Evert, the owner of Emily Reviews. I am 28 and live in a small town in Michigan with my boyfriend Ryan and our two pugs. I have a large family and I adore my nieces and nephews. I wish I could give some suggestions, but I’m horrible at gift-giving as well. Fortunately, my husband is all about practical gifts, so he’ll sometimes just tell me something that he wants otherwise he’s perfectly happy with nothing because then he must not have needed anything!
(P.S. Yes, I DO think you’re crazy for not liking chocolate. Completely bonkers!)

Moving is always an experience. If you do move, I hope it is a smooth & hassle free day.

How about a mini-vacation? My husband and I keep saying we’d like to take a weekend or just an overnight at a nice hotel and treat ourselves 🙂 After 8 years together, 6 of them married, we have yet to do it! It sounds nice though 🙂 I’m horrible at picking gifts too. Some of the time I can find something awesome, but most of the time I draw a blank and get something lame!
