I don’t have classes on friday, so after getting out of class on Thursday night I’m always really relaxed, knowing I don’t have anything I have to do for the next few days so I can focus on my blog and housework. I have a class on Wednesday nights, and this week we had a project due that was worth 200 points – which is 20 percent of our grade because we get 1,000 points throughout the semester. So the project is a big deal and it included an oral presentation which makes me incredibly nervous, often times to the point of feeling nauseous. So I had been worrying about the project and presentation, and for the last few days I have been trying to tell myself to just prepare as much as possible and then whatever happens, happens…that I just need to get through this class and then I can relax, etc. So today when I got out of class and had turned the project in I felt really relieved and relaxed, and somehow that made me get into ‘thursday night’ mode and for several hours I thought I was done for the week and then I just noticed that oh gosh, it’s only wednesday and I have class tomorrow. Bummer.
Even when I get mixed up in the opposite way, thinking that it’s Thursday when it’s actually Friday, etc. I still don’t like that feeling of being confused or “off” on my days, even if it means I’m closer to the weekend. It’s funny how I have different ‘feelings’ for different days. Hehe.
So I guess I’m going to try and get into ‘wednesday’ mode and get off to bed so I can be ready for class tomorrow. After class tomorrow I’ll get back in Thursday night mode and get a few posts up.
