I’ve known about fruit of the loom for as long as I can remember. I’ve always thought of them to a high quality, yet more affordable option for undershirts, socks, etc. However, I have to be honest, I had never tried any fruit of the loom bras or panties before. I had no idea that they had a line of clothing specifically designed for a junior frame. I am a member of business to blogger and when I saw that fruit of the loom was looking for reviewers to check out their a fresh collection, which is designed to fit junior sizes better than standard bras and panties. Being a smaller person, I was instantly intrigued. I struggle to find bras that fit well, and I hadn’t understood why until a couple of months ago when I came across a very expensive, petite bra company. They explained that the main reason that smaller people have a hard time finding bras to look great, is because most companies leave the same distance between the cups in a bra, regardless of the bra’s size. So if there is say, a 1 inch gap between the cups of a bra that is a D, they leave that 1 inch gap in a bra that is an A cup as well. When most of the time, people who wear smaller bra sizes also need their bras to be closer together so that the bra will look nice. This completely made sense to me, and I was thrilled to try out a bra line designed for smaller girls. When the bras arrived I was amazed at how generous they were, I got so many bras! I ran into the bathroom to try them on and fell in love. The cups are closer together, like I had hoped and they look great on me. I received three regular bras, one was from the ultimate padded push up line, which is my favorite. Partially because it has the biggest push up, but also because it looks the most grown up to me. Being designed for juniors, some of the bras have a younger look to them but I loved the appearance of the double push up bra. It has a slight gathering in the cup that really adds a lot. The bra straps are thin and adjustable, which I love. Of course, being a bra it is suggested that it only be hand washed, but I machine wash my bras even though I shouldn’t, and it held up okay, but I’m sure it’s best to hand wash to extend the life of the garment.
I also received a bra from the incredible push up line, in white. I’ll be honest, I hadn’t worn a plain white bra since I was probably 11 or so. I tend to associate white bra sin the same way that most people associate big white undies. Hehe. However, this bra truly is different and better. The top of the bra is lined in lace which is really pretty and isn’t itchy at all. The cups themselves have a lacy, heart shaped design into them. Although heart prints sound very young at first, the print isn’t overly noticeable and I think that the bra overall is pretty and I can wear it without feeling like a little girl. The center of the bra has a small dangling heart that jingles as you walk. This bra also fit great and has a push up, a little less than the ultimate push up bra but certainly enough. The straps are adjustable and there are three hook adjustments for a close fit. This bra should also be handwashed but I have machined washed it and it came out fine.
I was also sent a push up bra and boyleg set. The bra is a regular push up, and again fit me great and gave a bit of a push up. This bra has no lace or pattern on the front so it would be great for tighter fitting clothes or materials that cling, because it’s completely smooth so no wrinkles or patterns are picked up. This bra has a zigzag design on top of the cups that adds a lot to the design, as well as a heart shaped button and bow between the cups. I think this set is really cute, the panties fit me okay but they were a bit big. The 34/a bra came with size 6 panties. This bra should also be hand washed but I have machine washed it fine. The straps are adjustable and there are three hook adjustments to secure a great fit.
I received another bra and panty set that isn’t up on the website right now, but it is great as well. It includes a push up bra and bikini style undies. The sides of the panties were really thin, but strong and really comfortable. Again, teh panties in this set were a bit big on me but still wearable. The bra fits great, the pattern is a bit young for me but I’m sure most young teenagers would really enjoy this set. It also has a bow with heart shaped button in the middle, and has no texture on the outside of the cup so it’s great to wear with any top.
The last item I received was a three pack spaghetti strap sports bras. The bras are yellow, orange and pink and have white polka dots. This set is really cute. I don’t wear sports bras very often but I tried these out and they are really comfortable and fit great. I have owned sports bras in the past that really flatten out my chest and these dont do that, but they seem to hold everything securely at the same time, which is exactly what I would hope to find in a sports bra. These bras can be machine washed cold. The straps are not adjustable but it wasn’t an issue for me. I really would have enjoyed this set when I had gym class in high school, and it’s a great deal at just 12.00 for the set of three.
Overall I was thrilled with the items I received, and am so thankful that fruit of the loom is thinking about junior sized people, whether they are teenagers or not. I love how I can find extremely affordable bas and panties that fit me so well, without having to shop in the girls department. All of these items typically retail for 12.00 online but several are on sale right now for 8.00, which is such an awesome deal.

It is nice to see manufacturers responding to market segments tat are often forgotten or ignored.
