Today I have a great stocking stuffer idea for you all! As a kid, I didn’t like pizza. I did however, love making pizza. For me, it didn’t matter if I wanted to eat whatever we were making, I just wanted to help make it. From my experience, most kids enjoy helping out in the kitchen. I love having kids help me out in the kitchen, because they enjoy it and it can be turned into an educational experience so easily. For little kids, they can help count out how many cups have been poured into the bowl. For kids learning to read they can read the recipe. For older kids, you can discus fractions or double a recipe to work on multiplying fractions. Of course, it can be a great bonding experience as well! To add even more fun to cooking with kids, there is an adorable line of children’s kitchen tools called head chef. They are little “guys” that have spoons, forks, a measuring cup, a whisk, etc in the place where the head should be. The arms and legs are bendable so you can play with them and make them do all kinds of silly poses. The feet are suction cups as well! I can’t get over how cute they are. They even have child sized eating utensils so even if your child isn’t helping you in the kitchen they can still have some really neat silverware to eat with. I received several head chef products for review and they are all adorable and fully functional. They are also all dishwasher safe, major bonus! In addition to the different types of utensils that are bendable bodies, head chef also makes bowls, a rolling pin, so you can really make just about anything with the combination of products offered by head chef. I should warn you though…head chef utensils have butts and buttcracks. So, prepare for tons of giggles!
