If you have a foodie on your shopping list, pay attention to this review. Today I am going to tell you about Bushwick Kitchen. Bushwick Kitchen believes that food doesn’t need to be complicated to taste good. Bushwick Kitchen’s products are crafted with care from top-notch ingredient growers and makers to deliver the best taste experience. Their product collection includes a variety of maple syrup, sriracha, honey, hot sauce, and pancake mixes. For this review, I am going to focus on Bushwick Kitchens honey and maple syrups. 

Bushwick Kitchen’s honey is made with wildflower honey from the US. It is available in three flavors- Spicy, Meyer Lemon, and Salted. Bushwick Kitchen’s honey is Gluten-Free and Paleo-friendly. Their Organic Grade A Maple Syrup comes from the Catskill Mountains of Upstate NY. They have four flavors including Spicy Maple, Cinnamon Maple, Coffee Maple, and Butter Maple. In addition to being Gluten-Free and Paleo-friendly, the maple syrup is also Vegan.

Recently I have been topping my Greek yogurt with the Meyer Lemon honey. The sweet rich honey pairs nicely with the tart yogurt. My daughters have been using honey and maple syrups to add flavor to their coffees. It sounds like they have come up with some tasty combinations such as Cinnamon Maple Syrup with a bit of Salted Honey. 

The dish I am most looking forward to making is roasted sweet and spicy squash. We recently had something like this at a catered meal; it was by far the best dish served. I asked the chef for the recipe. He said it was delicata squash roasted with almonds and topped with spicy honey. The only thing stopping me from making it is that I cannot find delicata squash in our area. I will have to plant some in my garden next year so that this never happens again.

The only limit to using Bushwick Kitchen honey and maple syrup is your imagination. Use them on fruit, veggies, baked goods, desserts, entrees, cheese plates, and more. If you need some inspiration, you can find several recipes on the website to try.
