The gift guide has officially ended. I want to say an extra thank you to all companies who sponsored reviews or giveaways for my gift guide. It was only the second event that I had done, the first was way back in April. I was very happy with the outcome of this event where as the first one was a lot of work that didn’t seem to pay off much. Due to the success of my gift guide I am considering doing more events in the future. Not sure on the specifics though.
A week or so ago I reached 1000 followers! Thank you all! I have been meaning to make a ‘thanks to my followers’ post ever since I first reached 1000 but it kept getting pushed back. I am very thankful for all of you who follow my blog. Without followers and traffic I couldn’t get accepted for reviews so you really do keep my blog going!
I have been dreaming about going to Blogher for about a year now, I didn’t maek it last year though. I have gotten accepted for two partial sponsorships so far and I want to give an extra special thank you to aroma home and tribest for helping me out with some of the trip cost. My total trip cost is about 1,500 and I still need around 1,250 so if you are a company interested in being promoted at blogher this August I am still accepting sponsors.
I do have more reviews and giveaways coming up but I am a bit low due to the gift guide, and have a handful of events to go to related to the holidays so things might be a bit slow around here for a week or two until we get through to the new year. Thanks to all who have joined me here on my blog this year, I am so excited to bring what 2011 brings to boosandrawrs!
