I’ve been using reusable grocery bags for some time now. However, it wasn’t until a few months ago that it occurred to me that I could easily quit using disposable sandwich bags and snack bags as well. This semester I have night classes, that run from 5 45 to 9 15 at night, which is horrible timing as far as eating goes. Most nights I try to eat before class starts, but it’s just too early for me so I usually bag up a snack to throw in my purse to take with me. When I started looking up reusable sandwich bags, I found that most companies only have patterns that are very childish, with ponies, dinosaurs or trains. These are great for people who send their children lunch at school, but I wasn’t so sure that Ryan would enjoy opening his lunch to find a train snack bag. I was thrilled to learn that Reusies bags close with velcro, and have velcro on the front and the back of each bag, so that if you have a big back for a little snack, you can double the bag over to hold your snack tight. The sandwhich bags are very generously sized, so even big adult sandwiches will fit without an issue. The snack bags are generously sized as well, being almost as big as a ‘fold over’ disposable sandwich bag. Plus, reusies are made in the USA. I couldn’t come up with anything to dislike about these bags if I tried.
