If you know a child ages 4-10 then I’m sure you’ve heard of silly bandz by now. When I first heard of them it was from a few of the little girls that I know, and then within a few months a few of the little boys that I know started getting into them too. A few months back my 6 year old nephew was showing me several of his silly bandz after his sister had showed her. He explained to me that his sister has a lot more because the ‘girl packs’ are easier to find, so he has to wait until he finds ‘boy ones’ in the stores. So when I discovered Battle Bands I knew that my nephew would love these. Battle Bands are silicone bracelets that are shaped like all sorts of designs that appeal to young boys like dragons, serpents, warriers, etc. Battle bands are intended for ages 6+. When I showed these to my nephew he instantly liked them. However, they are more than just bracelets. Battle bands is also a game. The bracelets came with a mat that has a target on it, and boys stand back from the taret and try to hit the center. Then another boy tries to hit the target with his bracelet and whoever gets the most points wins. The rules of the game have more details such as having several rounds, to where each boy would add up his points each round until a set number of points was reached. There is also additional rules that can be used about forming army’s of 5 bands. However, for my 6 year old nephew that seemed a bit in depth and he was happy to compete just one on one, one round at a time. However, for older boys I’m sure the more detailed rules would make the game more fun. The set also includes warrior cards as well, which give details about individual battle band creatures. Overall this is a great set for young boys who are interested in silly bandz and they are affordable too!
Disclaimer – I received a set of battle bands for the purposes of this review. No other form of compensation was offered or accepted. All opinions are my own.

Sounds like fun for the boys. My grandsons have grown a little old for them, but would have enjoyed them when they were younger.
