Ryan’s birthday is coming up in 2 weeks and I still haven’t decided what to get him. I swear he’s the hardest person ever to buy for. I on the other hand, am easy to buy for. I regularly tell him things that I want to buy, so he could easily just pick one and buy it for me. However, he does a great job of coming up with ideas on his own that I love. When I try to ‘wing it’ and get him a gift that he hasn’t asked for, it always bombs. It’s actually became a joke between us because my gifts always start out well intentioned and end up bombing one way or another. Then again, I think men have it easy when it comes to gifting for their spouses since they can just go online to sites like ShopNBC and just click away, whereas we ladies have to physically shop! Every woman would love to receive some amazing gold jewelry. I know I would, anyway! I’m also always up for receiving new clothes, shoes or candy. Ryan only has one pair tennis shoes, and they are pretty worn out. I asked him recently if he would like new ones for his birthday and he said no, his old ones are fine.
