My 4.5 year old niece fell in love with the happy feet movie the first time she saw it. After that, she had about a year long span of being obsessed with all things penguin. She has mainly gotten over the obsession, but happy feet is still towards the top of her favorite movie list and she enjoys watching it from time to time. So, when she heard that happy feet two is due to be released this month she was super excited. There is also a wii game that is about to be released, called happy feet two the video game.
The game includes a musical game where you have to tap along to the beat, and dance to help keep the penguins from going extinct. The game can be played alone or with a friend. Happy feet two for wii is due to be released on November 8th but can currently be preordered on amazon. If you plan to head out to the movie theater on the 18th when the movie is released, the game could be a great way to build up enthusiasm for the movie before you leave home. It would also make a great gift for the kids on your list this holiday season.
Pump It Up currently has a facebook contest going in honor of happy feet two as well. To enter, simply take a short video of your kids running, jumping, dancing, playing or otherwise “showing off their happyfeet” and upload it to the pump it up facebook page for your chance to win some prizes.
