It’s that time of year again and Christmas is right around the corner. Last year was the first year that Ryan & I had a Christmas tree, so we hadn’t done decorations or ornaments in the years before that. Last year we bought a mixed box of round colored ornaments, but the tree felt plain without all the random, extra ornaments as well. But, we didn’t want to run out and buy 30 different ornament’s, it seems like ornaments are suppose to be a collection of years past. So, I’ve made it a goal to buy a new ornament or two each year until our tree gets full. We had never had a couples ornament made when we first got together, so for this years ornament I had one made for us at ornaments with love. Ornaments with love has a wide variety of personalized ornaments to choose from, and they can customize them with names or years or by number of family members. We picked out the penguins first Christmas. We were able to have the names changed to our own names and change the year on the male penguins hat to the year we started dating. When the ornament arrived it had a red ribbon on the top so that it can hang on a tree, but you could easily remove the ribbon to add a hook or a longer ribbon if you wanted. It’s a cute little ornament that we can keep and enjoy for years, so I think 10.95 is a great price for something that should last a lifetime. Ps – The ornament is shiny so I had a heck of a time getting a photo of it that wasn’t blurred or glaring, so please excuse the poor image quality. It looks great in person.
