I don’t think I have mentioned it on my blog yet, but I have a niece due to arrive in August. It’s been a few years since my family has had any baby girls so I am excited to get the chance to shop for pink frilly stuff again. If you have a little one coming soon or a baby, Carters is having a baby sale right now with prices cut as much as 70%. Sizes that are included in the sale run form preemie to 24 months. The sale is both in stores and online. You can use their website to find a store near you. Of course, I had to check out the baby girl sale and see what I could find for my niece. There are tons of adorable baby clothing to choose from and the prices are great as well. If you enjoy the ute sayings like “Daddys little princess” or “grandpas little helper” you’ll love the cute onesies available at carters. Most of the onesies I saw are originally 12.00 and are currently on sale for just $6.
I prefer the cute designs or animals over the sayings, and I completely fell in love with this whale onesie. While pink is sweet, I also love finding other colors that are more unique. So many baby girls get stuck in something pink every single day for the entire first year of their life. When you do find other colors for baby girl clothing, it’s often still in a very light pastel so I love that this one is bright yellow and the whale is a unique animal to find on a baby girl onesie as well.
For the more basic shirts there are packages of onesies, and I particularly like this sleeveless 5 pack of bodysuits. This would be a great set for summer and I just adore the shoulder area it adds so much style to an an otherwise pretty basic onesie. The 5 pack is currently on sale for $13, each onesie ends up being just $2.60!
Another favorite of mine is the 4 piece ladybug outfit set. Ladybugs are just so small, sweet and cute – so similar to newborns! I love the adorable ladybug feet on the bottoms and the ladybug hat as well. The set is on sale for $13 (preemie size) or $15.60 for the newborn size set. If I purchased each of these items my total would be $34.60. With 6 onesies, a pair of pants, a sleeper and a hat that is a huge chunk out of the necessarily clothing items for bringing home a baby. Definitely not bad for less than $35. These items would make for a great, affordable baby shower gift. In particular, their 5 pack bodysuits are a great value.

I have loved Carters baby clothes since forever it seems. I had many outfits for my children and am trying really hard not to overdue with the darling things they have for my new granddaughter. The ladybug outfit above is perfect for her. Too bad it doesn’t come in her size.
