Have you heard that Welch’s has a new line of all natural spreads? They contain no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial flavors or colors, no preservatives and are 100% north American grown. I’ll admit that these traits sounded great ,but I was curious to see how the flavors compared to the spreads that I was used to. I was thrilled to discover that they were super tasty. I’m not brand loyal about many things, but I am sensitive to the differences between brands in jellys and jams, and the welch’s all natural spreads tastes exactly like the good name brand jams and jellys that I’m used to. I was able to try out both the strawberry and grape varieties and they were both great. I love spreading them over toast with a little bit of butter in the morning. I also felt that the consistency or texture of the spreads were similar to other products I was used to. In addition to grape and strawberry, there is also a raspberry variety offered in the 17oz glass jar size, but I haven’t tried that out yet.
We also tried out the Welch’s sparking grape juice in both green and red. As a kid I loved being able to drinkĀ sparklingĀ grape juice on new years eve and at other events where the adults would be drinking from similar bottles. Tastes great, too. I’d like to try out their sparking lemonades this summer as well. To date, I haven’t tried a Welch’s product that I disliked, so I don’t mind trying out their new products because I know the chance that i’ll enjoy them is high.
