The company is also committed to making eco-friendly products, which means a lot in today’s world. The containers that the hair care products are sold in are recycled and are recyclable. There are no harsh preservatives or chemicals present in these hair care products.
For my review, I received the MACVOIL Botanical-Organic Macadamia Argan-Cypress Anti-Aging, Anti-Humidity Color Protect Complex Conditioner and Treatment. It’s a long name, but an amazing product. I have fairly greasy hair so I’m very reluctant to add any kind of smoothing products to my hair, for fear I’ll spend the day looking like I went for a swim in oil. I also enjoy a little body in my hair, and past experience with smoothing treatments has taught me that I can’t have both body and soft, smooth hair. However, this product has taught me otherwise. I showered as usual, rubbed a small amount on my hair (I focused on the ends, and put a little bit towards my scalp). Then I styled as usual – which for means some blow drying and straightening. When it was all over I had incredibly soft hair, but without it the weight and greasiness I expected. I’m a customer for life.
I do have color treated hair also, and I like to believe that this product will help to lengthen the life of my color, but I can’t say for sure until I have a chance to use the product for a longer period of time. For now, I’m simply enjoying the additional shine and health of my hair.
