Mini Pops are a delicious air popped Sorghum Grain snack. They are certified Gluten-free, nut free, USDA Organic, and Kosher.

What is Sorghum Grain? Glad you asked; it is the 5th most harvested grain in the world. In the US, we have more than eight million acres of land currently growing sorghum crops. The Sorghum that Mini Pops use is high quality, free from genetic modifications and is pesticide free. It is also a GREEN snack in that, Sorghum crops use 50% less water than corn crops.

When you compare Sorghum to popping corn, sorghum has less calories, fat, and sodium. Sorghum is higher than corn in protein, calcium, iron, and fiber! Another plus, is that Sorghum doesn’t have any hulls to get caught in your teeth or to choke on.

For my review, I received Baby White Cheddar, Itty Bitty Butter, and Subatomic sea salt Mini Pops.

The 1 ounce snack bags I received have 100 or fewer calories and have 3 g of fiber. How do Mini Pops taste? Yummy! The Baby White cheddar was my family’s favorite flavor; it tastes just like White Cheddar. The pops are so cute and tiny; my kids (ages 3 and 5) kept referring to them as “baby pops.”

We have a rule in our family we try to live by, if we can’t pronounce an ingredient, then we probably shouldn’t be eating it. Yep, I can easily pronounce all the ingredients in Mini Pops- Organic Sorghum Grain, Organic Safflower Oil, Sea Salt, and flavors.

Mini Pops are a hit in my family! They make a great dessert, treat in a lunchbox, and travel snack. Shhh…Mini Pops are also an easy & healthy treat to sneak into a movie theater!

You can find Mini Pops on facebook and twitter.
