I don’t know if it’s because I’m still young or if it’s just because i’m weird — but I think most houses and home decor are pretty boring. I love homes that look different than others or that have certain pieces inside them – whether it’s the couch, stove or a lighting fixture that really stands out as unique.
1800lighting is an online destination for all types of lights including ceiling lights, lamps, wall lights, outdoor lights and more. I realize I’m the odd one out – and most people like lights that don’t necessarily grab your attention but instead blend in beautifully with the rest of the home. For those people there are dozens of options to choose from and you’ll be sure to find a lighting fixture that matches the rest of your home.
There are also cool lights for people like me who want something that is a little bit out there. My favorite color is purple and whenever purchasing anything at all I tend to lean towards purple. On the 1800lighting website I searched for purple and was surprised to get 2 pages of search results. Woo hoo! My favorite is this hand blown piece. On the site it’s labeled as LBL Lighting HS171 Ooni 6 Inch Mini Pendant. I love blown glass because it’s such a beautiful art to begin with, but I love that this is purple, has such a unique shape and is just not something you’d see in the average persons home. It comes in two finishes – polished chrome or satin nickle. It also comes in four colors – purple, amber, clear or blue. So gorgeous!

I love “out there” products that really make a statement. That lamp is such cool, and I am definitely going to check them out right now 🙂
