This week, Nutrisystem has taught me that the good things in life are worth waiting for and working for! As I mentioned last week, I am learning some life lessons right now. These lessons came with a fair amount of stress that took a toll on me physically and emotionally. I am in the process of forgiving, healing, and moving on. I am wiser and more aware because of these lessons. Now it is time to let go and take the next steps on my journey.
This week, my measurements showed a loss of 0 in my upper arms, .5 in chest, .5 in waist, 0 in my hips, 0 in my thighs, a weekly total of 1 inch and an overall total of 16.5 inches. I am not really sure what weight I was at last week so can’t report this week’s weight lost. I CAN tell you that I have officially lost 20 pounds!!! I did it! After 8 weeks, I am a 1/3 of the way to my weight loss goal!
The rain has finally come home in Oregon….probably will be here for the next 9 months. So, next week I am bringing my exercise inside. I have a treadmill and exercise DVDs that I will become well acquainted with.
I was looking through the Nutrisystem recipes with my oldest Daughter trying to find one to share with you. Both she and I started drooling when the Chocolate Bark recipe popped up. Note to self, include Nutrisystem NutriChocolates on my next food order.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
