I’m so picky with food that I tend to be hesitant to try new things. I’m thankful that I gave Kind Snack bars a try though because I really like them. The Kind Snacks nuts and spices line consists of four types – dark chocolate nuts & sea salt, dark chocolate cinnamon pecan, Madagascar vanilla almond and cashew & ginger spice.

I don’t care for chocolate so I only tried the cashew & ginger spic and the madagascar vanilla almond. While I wouldn’t say that I dislike ginger, it’s never been a favorite of mine so I was surprised to find that I really liked the cashew and ginger spice bars. The seasoning is rather subtle, and I liked how the bar had a good combination of chewy mixed with crunchy texture. The vanilla almond bar was significantly more crunchy, which took some getting used to because it was rather tough but I really liked the taste. For people who crave crunchy snacks, it would definitely do the trick. While eating the bars, I thought they were pretty good but I was still surprised when I started craving the bars every now and then. I don’t usually spend much time thinking about food and usually only “crave” food that is super yummy to me, but I kept thinking that I wanted to have another one of these.

Ryan typically only eats milk chocolate, not dark so I wasn’t sure if he would care for the two types of dark chocolate bars that Kind healthy snacks offers but he enjoyed them both.

What makes them even better is their nutritional value. Each bar has 5g of sugar or less and contain nuts which are packed with protein, making them a really practical snack. Seems how they are individually packaged, they are easy to throw in a purse or diaper bag to take on the go.

You can purchase Kind Snacks online on their website or at places like starbucks, Whole Foods, Kroger and more.
