I haven’t really been able to travel much at all, so far. I’ve barely been out of state, actually. I’ve never flown on a plane, even. I have been to airports a few times when friends or family members were leaving or coming home and needed a ride. I’ve only been to two airports, but both that I’ve been to have really large parking lots with a pretty long walk up to the building, and then a good deal of walking once inside as well.
I’ve wondered how people manage to fly alone with babies or young children, especially when they aren’t just going on a trip but are moving. It must be exhausting to walk across the huge parking lot with multiple little kids, multiple times so that you can get all of your luggage inside. airport parking can be a huge hassle in that situation.
The Parking Spot is a service that was founded in 1998 and is now offered at 34 places, including near 22 airports. There isn’t one near me, but it’s worth checking to see if there are some near you, or at the location you are flying to. It’s a shuttle that runs from your parking spot to the building so you don’t have to walk. The service includes assistence with getting your luggage on and off of the shuttle. You also are given a free newspaper and bottle of water! The shuttles run every 5 to 7 minutes all day long so you don’t have to worry about waiting around on them. They also allow you to set up airport parking reservations.
Some locations even offer extra car services like changing your oil or washing your car. How convenient would it be to have your oil changed while you were out of town? Sounds awesome to me.

This sounds amazing! I am lucky that my airport is on a central transit line I am close to, so I don’t have to worry about parking, but if I had to I would definitely use this service!
