*This is a sponsored post. I am a Kmart blogger, though all opinions are my own.
Kids heading back to school can be expensive regardless of the age of your child. As kids get older, they might not need crayons or scissors anymore, but they begin to need other things – calculators, and combination locks that are more expensive. Then once you get to college, things get exponentially more expensive! You might not be able to find a deal on college courses but you can save money on other college necessities such as clothing, small appliances, bedding and a shower caddy by shopping at Kmart. Kmart has nice everyday prices and they also have the ShopYourWay membership card that lets you earn points on your purchases. Later on, you can redeem your points to save on other purchases. Shop Your Way members also get discounts or coupons emailed to them regularly and they get access to special prices that non-shop your members don’t get. For example, my account currently has a $5 off any $50 clothing purchase coupon for use at Kmart, and a “get $10 worth of points when you spend $50 or more on apparel” coupon. Either of these would be great for back to school!
If you plan to head to Kmart for college essentials, keep an eye out for deals on children’s back to school gear, too. They have some kids clothing sales and a children’s shoe coupon offer available for members – why not save money for the whole family at once?
If you don’t have time to walk around the store, you can order online and have your order shipped to the store for free. Or, orders of $59+ ship to your house for free. Or, want to shop in store but see what offers are available first? Check out the Back To School & College page on the Kmart website. Don’t forget ot check out the “shop your way exclusives” tab and the shop your way deals center for more deals if you’re a member!

I so love free shipping!! I’m not a fan of actually going out all the time to shop –love that after $59 it’s free shipping-that’s a great feature for people like me with one in college now–she can go on line and get what she needs-thanks for the post

I wish we had a Kmart near us! We stock up when we go visit my inlaws as they have one close to them, they have the best deals. I had never thought to shop online for them, thanks for the idea!

Kmart is offering more and more family friendly deals. Good to see a focus on one stop shopping for families.

I used to love to shop Kmart when I was a kid! Unfortunately we don’t have any near us anymore.

I have not shopped at a Kmart in years. Only one close by and it is in a part of town I never go.
