The prize here at Emily Reviews is an assortment of Tastykake Snack Cakes valued at $25! If you’re a fan of candy bars such as Hersheys, York or Reese you’ll be excited to discover that Tastykake makes snack cakes based on that candy called Kandy Bar Kakes! We were able to try out the Reese and Almond versions and they were really yummy. They are unique because the outside is a cake-like chocolate and the inside is creamy, so they taste great and have a unique texture. They make for a fun halloween treat that feels a bit more grown up than straight candy while still being tasty. It would be fun to surprise a loved one by adding one to a school or work lunch on or near Halloween.

Tastykake makes several other types of snacks too like donuts, honeybuns, cinnamon rolls and pies in various flavors. TastyKake products can currently be found in stores on the east coast and the eastern part of the south. So, they aren’t currently in Michigan but they are yummy and I’m sure once people try them and spread the word they’ll become more popular here in the midwest – and i’ll definitely be picking them up here and there as treats once they’re in my local grocery stores.
