I received  Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cups for review.  These are my honest opinions.

HGGimage2013I am really excited about the Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cups.  I have honestly never seen a cup like this and would have loved to have tried one when Little C was little.  The Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cup is a sippy cup designed for toddlers 12 months and older.  The cup is spill proof and works like a real cup for the most part.  Your child will be able to drink from anywhere around the rim of the cup.  There is no spout or straw for them to use.  The cup will help in training your child to drink from a real cup with what I believe may be an easier transition then drinking from a normal sippy cup. I of course have a while before Baby A will be anywhere near able to use this cup, but I look forward to seeing how it goes.  I have washed the sippy cup in the dishwasher and it came out perfect.  I also filled the cup with some water and gave it to Little C just to try out for me.  Little C is 5 so he looked at me kind of DSCN2991funny when I asked him drink out of the cup, but he did it for me none the less.  Considering he has been drinking out of a big boy cup for quite some time now he had a little bit of trouble, but he thought it was fun.  I have filled the cup DSCN3089with water and turned it upside down and there was no leaking at all.  I also shook it pretty hard and was very impressed that nothing came out.  Honestly I expected some water to spill out of the cup.  Now the cup has a type of lid that when it is pressed down drink comes out of it of course, so if your child were to turn the cup upside down and press the lid water or juice would come out.  The point of the cup is to have liquid come out when your child presses there lips against the lid and turns it up to drink out of.  It worked very well when Little C tried it.

I really believe that the Philips AVENT Natural Drinking Cup would be an excellent stocking stuffer idea for your toddler.  It is something very practical that will teach your child a great new skill and that they will love. It might not be a toy or candy, but this is a gift that will last until your child transitions to a different cup.  The Natural Drinking Cup comes with handles so that it is easy for your toddler to use.  The retail value is $6.99 and the cups come in blue, green pink and red!  Don’t miss out on this great gift idea this holiday season!
