I received a Diamond Candle for this review. All opinions are my own

I love scented products. I love to have incense and scented candles burning nearly all the time. And when it comes to candles, there are all different kinds out there. However, Diamond Candles are a very unique and fun kind of candle. Diamond candles are scented candles with a ring inside! I was very excited to try out a Diamond Candle for myself!

I received a Diamond Candle in the Cupcake scent. All Diamond Candles are made from locally grown soybeans and are crafted by hand, so the candle itself is of really high quality.

I lit my Diamond Candle right away. I was really pleased with the scent of it. It definitely has a sweet, pleasant cupcake smell. But luckily didn’t make me want to eat cupcakes! It was simply an enjoyable scent. The candle is pretty strongly scented too, so you could really smell it whenever it was lit.

Of course, while I loved the scented candle itself, I was very excited for the surprise ring inside! All Diamond Candles come with a ring. This ring can be valued anywhere from $10 to $5,000, and come in various sizes and styles. The ring is inside the candle, so you have to burn it down to get to it. I vowed not to ruin the candle by digging it out, so I waited to let it burn down completely. This took a few hours of burn time.

The ring comes wrapped in foil, and you just have to pull it out of the wax.

So what did I get? I got a ring that I figure is only worth $10. It’s not made of any precious metal, and definitely is simply a glass or plastic stone.

However, it’s still pretty! It’s simply not valuable. Unfortunately it’s too small for me to actually wear (except on my pinky), plus I have metal allergies so I would not be able to wear this ring even if it was big enough. Diamond Candles does have a ring exchange on their website, where you can exchange rings with people, so if you get a size that doesn’t work for you, you can try to exchange it.

If I could change anything about Diamond Candles, I would simply want there to be a value label with the ring. None of the rings state their value. If you get a ring with a 14k symbol on the inside, you are encouraged to get it appraised by a jeweler. I wish that the value was simply noted along with the rings, as that would make things a bit simpler in my opinion.

Overall, I really enjoyed my Diamond Candle. I like that it’s a soy candle, so it has a clean burn that won’t affect my health, or give me a headache. I also really like how scented it was, and of course, I liked the mystery of the ring inside. Even though I didn’t get a valuable ring, the mystery was still really fun. Diamond Candles come in lots of different, pleasant scents, so there’s sure to be one to suit you!
