*I was provided with snacks from Pirate’s Brand Snacks. All opinions are my own.
I’ve seen a lot of bloggers posting about their children’s last day of school, recently. Kids here in Michigan are still in school for almost two more weeks because our long winter required too many snow-days that now have to be made up. Still, it won’t be long until summer is in full swing and kids are asking for snacks at home multiple times a day. So I wanted to share my experience with Pirate’s Brand Snacks. They are bagged snacks that come in regular family sized bags or smaller, individual snack sizes so they are a really convenient snack to have on hand for summer snacking but they contain less of the ‘junk’ that traditional chips or bagged snacks have so you can give them to your kids without so much guilt. They have a handful of different snack flavors that are made from popped rice or corn and have no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. They are gluten free and have 0g trans fat per serving.
I’m a picky eater so I was thrilled that I liked all of the flavors that we were sent which included Smart Puffs Real Wisconsin Cheddar smart puffs, Pirates Booty Veggie, Pirate’s booty aged white cheddar and original tings crunchy corn sticks. My favorite was the aged white cheddar which I found slightly addicting. Pirate brand snacks are available in lots of grocery stores including Whole Foods if you want to look them up in your area you can use the store locator tool on the website. I’ll be buying more for summer snacking or picnics. They taste just as good to me as other full-of-junk-i-can’t-pronounce snacks so it’s an easy choice for me to choose these instead because I don’t feel like i’m compromising flavor at all.
Have you tried Pirate’s Brand Snacks? Which variety is your favorite?

I keep seeing these Pirate booty snacks but have yet to try them. Next time I see them at the 99 cent store, which is now and then, I’ll try a few different flavors. White cheddar flavor sounds the best to me.
