I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for OshKosh B’gosh. I received an OshKosh B’gosh gift card to purchase product and to thank me for my participation.
When I shop for Christmas presents for kids, I like to get a toy or something they just want as well as something that they need. I know that my nieces and nephews grow like weeds, so I often get them clothing for the gift item that they need. While my main goal is to help their parents out by providing for a need of theirs, I also try to make sure that the kids will like the clothing so that it isn’t a boring gift. I’ve found that if I am selective about which clothing items I purchase, it can be a fun and appreciated gift.
I remember having OshKosh brand clothing as hand-me-down from my older siblings and cousins as a kid. I loved wearing bib overalls as a kid and most bibs that I had were OshKosh brand. I’ve since learned that this wasn’t just a coincidence – many families find that OshKosh brand clothing turns into hand-me-down items because they are so well made. Yet, their clothing is quite affordable and they often run great sales and deals.
I don’t have an OshKosh store in my local area (use the online OshKosh Store Locator Tool to see if there is one near you!). Instead, I visited the OshKosh website and was impressed with the selection of unique, bold colors available for both boys and girls. When my nephew Drew (age 4) was born I remember walking through clothing stores and feeling like all the cute stuff was made for girls. So I was surprised when 2.5 years later Kelsie (now 1.5) was born and I still struggled to find clothing items for her that I liked. Everything was “baby pink” and felt like it had little personality. I love how OshKosh B’gosh has baby girl and toddler girl items in reds, yellows, oranges, blues and more. While they have a nice section of pink items as well, they cover a range of shades instead of just baby-pink.
For the boys, I saw several items that I knew would appeal to Drew. He likes dinosaurs, motorcycles, trucks, anything with wheels, monsters, football, etc. One of my favorites was a shirt with a football design on it that glows in the dark. I have several young nephews and I think they would all find glow in the dark clothing cool!
I was pretty impressed with the deals that I was able to get. A lot of items were on sale and I was able to use an online coupon code on my order as well. Kelsie’s super cute fleece pull-over only cost me $8.00 after the sale and coupon code but it was originally marked as $22! As soon as I pulled it out of the box she smiled and had me try it on her. It was fun to see her excited to get a new sweater. I loved being able to #GiveHappy for just $8.00.
I love how Kelsie’s fleece pullover is super soft without being overly thick or bulky. I also appreciate the attention to detail. For example, there is a strip of fabric that runs behind the zipper to prevent you from accidentally catching skin in the zipper.
OshKosh B’Gosh carries clothing for kids up through size 12. They have coordinating colors in various sizes in both genders so it’s a great place to find coordinating holiday outfits for pictures or Holiday parties.
There is a new sale going on at OshKosh B’gosh right now with doorbusters and up to 60% off some items. They are constantly switching out their sales and deals so I recommend signing up for their newsletter so you’ll be the first to know when your favorite items go on sale. Plus, you can use the special coupon code below to save 25% off your order of $30 or more so that you can #GiveHappy on a budget this holiday season. It can be used online or in store and is good though 12/31/2014.

I agree with the OshKosh brand name being well made. Seems like it’s been around forever. I’d have to shop online but I do love the vibrant colors and patterns here.
