During the winter I tend to battle dry hair and dandruff. Once spring starts I have to revamp my hair care routine. Instead of my main focus being avoiding dry hair and dandruff, in the spring my primary focus becomes creating soft, flowing hair that is easy to manage so I can style it as needed for the weather and humidity each day.
This spring I am planning to try Nexxus New York Salon Care which is has been reformulated and is available at CVS. My mother in law has recommended the Nexxus brand to me in the past because she said their conditioner works miracles on her hair that doesn’t compare to any other brand out there. Now that winter is over my hair is feeling dry, brittle and just kind of worn out as a result of the harshness of the dry winter weather. I’m excited to try Nexxus Therappe Shampoo & Humectress Conditioner and Encapsulate Serum. They include 100% elastin protein and caviar complex which help re-balance, restore and replenish hair to provide you with soft, nourished and manageable hair. This is exactly what I have been looking for now that winter is over.
If you stop in to see your CVS beauty adviser before 4/26/2015 (use the store locator tool to find one near you) you can get a $1 off coupon for Nexxus prouducts of your choice (Excluding trial or sample size products). The beauty adviser can also give you tips and advice for your spring haircare routine.
I think I’ll also be looking to get a trim soon as I have split ends right now, and getting rid of those would be a great first step in making my hair feel refreshed.
Do you change up your hair care routine in the spring? What does your routine look like?
