Those of you who have been following my blog for a long time know that I have two pugs, Frank & Beans. You can probably tell from my blog posts about them that they are a big part of my life. I wanted to get a dog for a couple of years before I adopted them, but I underestimated just how much they would steal my heart. I was surprised at how quickly I grew to love them and how I just feel more attached to them as time goes on. We’re almost two years in now, and I don’t hesitate to label myself as a crazy dog lady.
While mother’s day is primarily for human-moms, PetSmart knows that being a pet mom is important as well – whether you have both human and fur-kids or if you’re just a pet-mom. They sent me a sweet Pet-mom gift basket which was my first “mothers day gift” because I don’t have human kids. The basket included a $59 Massage Envy gift card for me, and several items for the pugs including PetSmart frisbees, tennis-style balls, a rope/plus toy, a plush ring toy, two plush pound-puppy toys, a Martha Stewart frog stuffy and three bags of Greenies dog chews.
My pugs are primarily interested in plush toys, but they are selective about which plush toys they take an interest in. Before I even finished pulling everything out of the box Frank grabbed onto the white plush pound puppies poodle toy (that was still hooked onto the cardboard backing) and carried it away! Of course, I had to quickly get it from him to remove the packaging. He’s been playing with it off and on ever since.

I would probably include GNC Pets Vitamin Enriched Moisturizing Oatmeal Dog Shampoo, too. Nothing makes me happier than snuggling with my dogs after their bathes. They always get so cuddly when they’re freshly bathed and I know I certainly enjoy having them close when they smell better. LOL

What a wonderful giveaway!!! I would love to win this for my baby boy Cello. He is an Italian Greyhound. He broke his leg recently and this month he will have his cast off and it would be great if I can reward him for being so patient all this time with these gifts!
