Ultrahug selfie contest

I was recently standing in the store with my (pregnant) sister, looking at a row of diapers. “There are so many options!” she said. She purchased a box of Huggies Snug And Dry Ultra diapers. Huggies are a favorite of mine because of their stretchy section in the back of the diaper. Most other diaper brands don’t have any stretch in that area, so when baby crawls, bends or just moves around the back of the diaper will gap away from their back. With Huggies brand diapers, the diaper stays tight up against their back which works wonders are preventing up-the-back blowouts. Walmart Huggies Snug and Dry Ultra diapers offer long lasting leakage protection because of their unique quilted layer that locks away wetness better.

Kelsie Trike

Kelsie is so busy and active that it’s exhausting to keep up with her. She runs, climbs, jumps, and even has started riding a trike. All of her moving around means she needs a diaper that conforms to her shape and movements all day long. To help keep her busy and mentally engaged during the summer, we rely on community locations like parks, our public pool and the zoo. Raising a child in a community without these resources just wouldn’t be the same. I love that Huggies Snug N Dry has created the #UltraHug community contest.

To participate, post a selfie of you and your baby on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #UltraHug. Also share your nomination for a community in your share. If your entry is accepted, Huggies will provide a $2000 grant to support your choice of community project.

Lansing isn’t too far from where I live, and there is a wonderful community project called Homeless Angels. Their mission statement “Rebuild and Restore Faith in Humanity through innovative Ideas , Programs and events with the main goal of involving the Community in REAL change for people that are Homeless or at Risk of Homelessness.” I follow their public facebook page as well as a private facebook group that they organize. This organization responds to people who dial 2-1-1 looking for shelter when they are homeless. I’ve seen them provide shoes to homeless people who had lost theirs, coats to homeless during the winter, feed people, get them into an apartment and even help with job resumes to eventually get people (and families) back into a home of their own.

Don’t forget to post your #UltraHug selfie with your baby on social media and nominate your community project for a chance to help them out.

Also remember to pick up Huggies Snug And Dry Ultra diapers which are available exclusively at Walmart.
