This is a compensated blog post. All opinions are my own.
With Thanksgiving right around the corner many of us are reflecting on the things we’re thankful for. Several friends on my Facebook page are posting a daily “what I am thankful for” post each day this month. When I stop to think about how much I have to be thankful for, it doesn’t usually take long for me to think about how many other people aren’t as lucky as me. I am pretty healthy, and I’m able to afford the medications that I need. I have a boyfriend who is a true partner in my life. My family loves me and live close enough to me that I get to see them regularly. I’ve never been without food or shelter. My sister delivered her son – my newest nephew just two days ago and he’s healthy.
If you’re feeling thankful for how much you have, and want to give back to those in need, you can do so in November free of cost right on social media. Paul Mitchell is a brand of hair products who is selflessly donating $1 for each time that the hashtag #GivingIsMyStyle is used on Instagram or Twitter this month (November). With your Instagram or twitter share, they would like you to share why or how you like to give back. You can even share multiple times! Include #GivingIsMyStyle 100 times and $100 gets donated, 1,000 times and $1,000 gets donated, etc!
Here are my Twitter and Instagram shares for the campaign.
I like to #giveback because when I think about how much I have to be thankful for (like my 2 day old healthy nephew!) I can’t help but feel compelled to help those in need. Share how or why you give back with the hashtag #GivingIsMyStyle and @paulmitchellus will donated $1 to charity on your behalf! #payitforward #paulmitchell
I #giveback because I know I have SO much to be thankful for! Use #givingismystyle to have a $1 donation made thanks to @PaulMitchellUS — Emily Reviews (@EmilyReviewsCom) November 6, 2015

I love a brand that gives back and this sounds amazing.

I love how much Paul Mitchell donates to charity. I support clean water and drilling for water in countries that need wells. Great use of social media instead of posting all the pictures of ourselves!
