Life has been so busy for Ryan & I lately. Things had been hectic for us for about a month with my nephew being born, my mother in laws dog passing away, a couple of stressful doctors appointments, halloween and my dad’s birthday. I thought life would slow down for us a little bit but last week we finally found a house that we really wanted to move into. We had been apartment/duplex/house hunting for a few months without much luck and last week we found a place and got approved. We spent the weekend moving our belongings to our new place and have been unpacking since then. As I type 4 of the 6 rooms in the new place are still extremely cluttered with boxes. It’s funny how time goes so quickly and so slowly all at once during big changes like that.
This week as we were trying to patch together meals and snacks while we were busy moving with half of our dishes in one house and half in the other I was really thankful that Ryan was on Nutrisystem. We laughed at how much easier it was for him to eat during our moving and unpacking process than it was for me. I was always searching for a pan or a dish or a spoon while he had several on-the-go options that he could eat without any dishes! Ryan & I both work from home so we aren’t on the go as much as your average person but this week we really saw how awesome Nutrisystem is for busy on-the-go people.
Our new place has a garage with electric plugins so we decided to set up our workout area right in the garage and heat it a little with an electric heater when needed. At our last place we would workout on the porch but we’ve struggled to keep doing that regularly as the weather has turned cold.
This week Ryan weighed in at 118.5, bringing him down 1.5 pounds since his last weigh-in. His total weight loss is now exactly 40 pounds!

Oh, I think that’s 218.5 since 118.5 would make Ryan a real skinny-mini but 40 pounds is great! Moving is exhausting but exciting too. The garage is definitely better in the Michigan winters than the porch!
I make sure I plan and prep my meals on my off days or weekends if you have those off. Really if I don’t buy it, it’s not in the house and I’m not going to eat it, so I don’t buy the bad stuff in the first place.
