I have been provided with a Nutrisystem plan in exchange for sharing my honest experience and results on my blog. All opinions are my own.
Ryan has now been on Nutrisystem for 20 weeks – that’s about 5 months! My goal has been to do progress pictures every 4 weeks, but the week 16 update didn’t have photos because we were in the process of moving. It’s been an exciting but also busy and stressful 2 months for us. My nephew was born, we looked at a few houses, finally got approved for one and moved in. I’ve also had the holiday gift guide going on here at the blog which is my busiest time of year. As I mentioned in past posts, this busy and somewhat stressful transition period has affected Ryan’s journey primarily in the sense of not exercising regularly. Nutrisystem is a really easy food plan to follow even when you’re busy because the meals are so easy to prepare, so that is never an issue. However, for about five weeks there was very little exercise going on here. Now that we’ve been living here almost a month, we’re completely settled in and we’ve been exercising every other day for about a week and a half now. The weight loss has really picked back up for Ryan as a result of this. Ryan’s weight today is 213, a five-pound loss since his last weight in and update which was 11 days ago. His total weight loss is now 45.5 pounds!
This collage shows his first set of photos and then photos from today, a 45.5 pound difference!
When Ryan started Nutrisystem in July he intentionally chose this shirt for his update pictures because it was too small for him at the time. About 2 months ago we realized the shirt was now so loose on him that it wasn’t showing off his continued weight loss as well anymore, so he chose a new shirt that was still too small to continue to show progress. Here is another collage in the smaller shirt – the top row is 2 months ago, the lower row is from this week. The weight difference here is roughly 12 pounds. The results look more dramatic than 12 pounds to me which I think really shows how the exercise is not just helping him lose weight but also build muscle.
