StuffYouNeedCheap sent me a subscription box for my review. All opinions are my own.
I read a blog post from a fellow blogger a few days ago where she listed the things her household was always running out of, even though she feels like she buys them all the time. She mentioned things like throw blankets, pens, pencils and pencil sharpeners. It got me thinking about those items that I feel like my household always needs and socks are definitely at the top of the list. I have no idea what happens to our socks, but I feel like we are always low on socks and we’re always buying socks.
When I run low on socks I just buy more before I get super low. Ryan hates buying himself any kind of clothing and will get down to just a few pairs of socks before telling me I should pick some up for him. So when I heard that StuffYouNeedCheap is a subscription service for men that regularly sends socks or underwear I thought it was a great match for Ryan.
We opted to go with the sock subscription which includes 3 pair of randomly chosen socks to you each month, or every other month depending on which setting you choose. The designs are bold and bright and are supposed to fit men’s shoe sizes 7.5-15. Socks are not from random brands but are instead exclusive to SYNC, so all of the socks have the same size and quality but come in different prints and patterns.
When our SYNC subscription box arrived I was impressed with how soft the socks felt right away. They aren’t thin and slick like dress socks, but they have a similar softness about them while being thicker like everyday socks. Ryan wears a shoe size 10.5 or 11 depending on the brand and these socks fit him okay length wise. They seem to be made for a slightly more narrow foot because the designs seem stretched out with-wise when on his foot and ankle/lower calf. They fit comfortably for him I just think they look stretched out so that’s something to consider if you’re bothered by the stretched-out thread appearance. The center of the socksĀ have a noticeably different thread style which helps provide arch support. Ryan found that them being a bit tighter in that area also helps them stay on without getting floppy or loose.
If your boyfriend, husband or son is always in need of socks a SYNC subscription would make a great Valentine’s day gift. Or, if your guy is always low on underwear instead of socks they also have a subscription box for boxer-briefs.

Such a great idea!! HUbby is always buying socks and underwear!! He’s not a boxer brief fan though… itd be nice if they had a variety in that dept š

I love the patterns on these socks. They’re not too crazy or just the opposite, boring. I’m not sure why men hate shopping so much, but this would be a great alternative to that problem.

Thanks for the review. I need to check with box, my husband and son’s socks somehow “discover a wormhole” and like to travel to new universes . I also like patterns on those socks.

I like socks but they last a long time for me so this kind of subscription wouldn’t work for me.
