I was provided with a Daisy-care dog treat subscription box for review. All opinions are my own.

I love my dogs more than I dreamed was possible before I brought them home. I knew I would grow to love them but it happened quicker than I expected. I enjoy spoiling them with attention and affection because it’s clear to me that they love it and it helps our bond grow.

Daisy-Care is a dog subscription box that was created with the goal of helping dog owners and their dogs bond. They have three subscription box options, but all of the treats that they include in all of their boxes are made in the USA. I’ve seen multiple recalls for dog treats made in china and other countries since I got my dogs almost 3 years ago. I feel that choosing food and treats for them that are made in the USA is a safer choice, so I love that Daisy-Care also values USA-based dog treats.

They offer a ‘just treats’ subscription box, a treats + toys subscription box and a holidays-based subscription box. The holiday subscription box sends out a box for your pet prior to holidays and is only available for purchasing as a full-year at a time sign-up. The treats only and treats & toys options are both available to pay month-by-month, or by 3, 6 or 12 months at a time. The subscriptions are available in different sizes based on how large your dog is.

We were sent the treats and toys subscription box. I had a few other packages arrive the same day, and had simply left them stacked in my kitchen after they were dropped off because I was too busy to open them at the time. I had to laugh at how my pug Frank was obsessively sniffing the one box. I hadn’t looked at the label yet but I knew it must be something pet related and it turned out to be the Daisy-Care subscription box. We have ordered treats, chews and dog food in the mail before but he has never been able to smell through the box before so I thought it must be something he would find extremely yummy. I had Ryan open the box so I could show Frank obsessing over the box during the opening.

Once we got the box open we realized it was a bully stick. We’ve ordered bully sticks in the mail before but this one must have been particularly strong or yummy smelling to him. I barely was able to snap a photo before he was off to chewing it! So that was a big win right off the bat.

Once Frank was busy with the bully stick I looked through the rest of the box. It had two toys and four bags of treats

I was so excited that it had several bags of treats because we go through treats much quicker than toys. My dogs are gentle with toys so they tend to last forever. Once I looked closer I was also excited with the quality and variety of treats included.

The first bag was Dr Becker’s beef bites. These are grain free liver treats for dogs (or they can even be given to cats!). These are single-ingredient making them a good choice for dogs who have allergies and need to stick to a small number of ingredients. My dogs go absolutely nuts for liver treats so I was excited to see these. Liver treats are not cheap, either. These are currently listed for $12.50 on amazon.

The second bag was MyDoggy cheesy treats. These are wheat-free and corn-free dog treats made with cottage cheese, molasses and ginger. Again, with such a small ingredient list they are a great choice for allergy dogs. They have a retail value of $9.50 so another high-value item.

The third bag was Bear Crunch grain-free bacon and blueberry treats. These are small (roughly dime-sized) treats that are under 3 calories each. These are perfect to use as training treats or just as regular treats when you’re working on keeping your dog to a calorie limit. The bag says there are over 350 treats in the bag and that seems incredibly high but there really is a ton. We opened these a couple of weeks ago and we give each of our two dogs a treat each time they go potty. So I would estimate that we go through about 8-10 treats per day because my dogs usually go outside 4-5 times a day. After a couple of weeks, we still have more than half a bag left. So the value is great and they are wheat, corn and soy free. These are currently listed for $8.72 on amazon.

The last bag of treats was Fido Fruits chicken and apple flavored treats. These are 96% fruit and very lightweight. They are just 2 calories per treat and they are pretty big and soft so I tore them in half and that made them roughly an inch long so they could have been torn into smaller pieces. These are $9.24 on amazon right now.

The toys included in the box were pretty unique as they were ball-shaped but were knit or crochet material and had a squeaker inside. My dogs like plush/stuffed toys but do not like balls so I wasn’t sure if they would take to these or not. They showed mild interest but were unable to get the balls in their mouths. As pugs they have the flat/smushed faces that results in a very small mouth so this is pretty common for them. They are also just really picky about toys in general so I know that for my dogs getting toys in subscription boxes is a bit of a gamble, so I love that for pet owners like me Daisy Care offers the treat only option as well.

Overall I was really happy with the treats included in the Daisy Care dog treat subscription box. All of them are higher end treats with brag-worthy ingredients that will please pet owners who are selective about what they feed their pets.
