I was sent samples from ShangriLa Global. Items are made by  Zorbitz. All opinions are my own.

The trend of fidget spinners that started late in spring has brought a lot of attention to fidget toys and sensory toys. When I first heard everyone talking about fidget spinners on Facebook I was baffled. About a week later my nephew handed me his to try. I spun it and thought “Okay….and?” however, I quickly found myself continuing to play with it for several minutes while I was talking. Suddenly I “got it”. They are both fun and calming for me.

However, many teachers and schools have banned them from classroom due to the distraction they can cause other students, which is understandable in my opinion. ShangriLa Global sent me an assortment of little fun items they sell. Some of them are fidgets, while others are just for fun.

ShangriLa fidget toys

Their fidget spinner comes with a suction that allows you to pin the fidget to your phone case, to a table or desk, really to any flat surface. However, it does not come attached so if you prefer to use it as a regular fidget spinner you can do that instead.

Their fidget counter simply has a button that you press to increase the count on the dial. This fidget is very similar to clicking a pen.

twiddle fidget

The Twiddle is a plastic toy with many links in the chain that click into various shapes. You can leave it in a string, or loop it into a circle. If you’re creative you can try to form it into shapes and designs. Or to use it as a fidget you can simply click it, squeeze it, straighten it, etc. It can be joined with other Twiddles to make a big set, and it’s available in a few different sizes.

Fidget Putty is a really satisfying texture that isn’t sticky or messy. It can be twisted, squeezed, kneaded or stretched. Kids who enjoy any kind of dough or putty will enjoy this version as well.

Need a bag for all of your fidgets? There is a fidget bag! It is a zippered pouch that has a bubbled texture on the outside, making it satisfying to feel.

ShangriLa doll and me bracelet

ShangriLa Global also has some jewelry. We were sent a dollie and me set which is perfect for little ones who have 18 inch dolls, and a matching bracelet for your little one. The set doesn’t appear to be available on their website right now.

ShangriLA creative gifts

We were also sent a few creative or artistic gifts. Tween girls will adore the 3D bufferflies wall decor. They come plain and you can color them in the design of your choosing. They also come with adhesive tape so they can be applied to your wall. They are 3D so the wings stick out from your wall instead of lying flat.

The Coloring and craft book set is also a great tween gift. The designs feature things like rainbows, hashtags, hearts and stars that will appeal to tweens or young teens. One side includes the coloring book, while the other side is a pouch with colored pencils included. It would be perfect for staying entertained on a road trip, on a plane or just while waiting on dinner at a restaurant.

Remember those stained glass crafts you made when you were a little kid? They have a more mature version of them at ShangriLa Global called Stained Glass Mandalas! They are detailed mandala shapes, in 5 designs and they come with 8 paints to color them with.

It’s a little early to be thinking of the holidays already, but many of these items would be perfect as stocking stuffers or small gifts.

Win it: An assortment of items from Shangrila Global including a fidget spinner, Twiddle, coloring & craft book set, and fidget putty. Giveaway is open to the US. Giveaway will end 11/11/2017.
