Since 1972 Stash Tea Company has operated out of Portland Oregon. In the beginning, Stash Tea produced loose herbal teas and bulk herbs that were marketed to natural foods stores. Then in 1975 the company created a mail order catalog and decided to embrace bagged teas. They began working with fine restaurants supplying them with traditional and special blends of herbal tea.
