As a kid, one of my favorite types of gifts was video games. We didn't have many games and back then it seemed like there were teenage games and then games aimed at kids, but most of the kid games were more aimed at boys than girls. I also really liked computer games and remember being jealous of a few of the "girl" computer games that my friends had at the time. Thunderstruck DVD/Blu-ray Giveaway (12/12)
I was pretty young when I saw my first movie where two people accidentally got trapped in the other persons body. I remember having my imagination intrigued by this concept and daydreaming about what it would be like to (at least visibly/externally) be someone else for a day or two. HGG: SmartLab Toys Amazing Squishy T-rex Review & Giveaway (12/11)
When I can find toys that kids love to play with that are also educational, I view that as a real win-win. SmartLab Toys offers unique toys that are primarily science or art based that are fun but also educational.
I was recently sent an Amazing Squishy T-Rex set which is fun for kids because it's squishy (almost slimy feeling but not quite) but it's also really educational because it's an anatomically correct. HGG: Poptropica for DS Review
Poptropica is an online game that is really kid friendly (no violence or other bad stuff) that was created by Jeff Kinney, the author behind the whimpy kid series that is so popular with kids these days. I know several kids who just adore the whimpy kid book series so I was excited to check out this game just based on that fact alone.
