From the week our kids are born, they are introduced to wondrous worlds through books because every night, we all gather around for family story time. My husband and I feel that instilling a love of reading is important so we rarely miss this time together. Over the years, I've suffered from a variety of aches and pains including headaches, migraines, back aches, and more. I rarely go to the regular doctor, though, because I know that will only result in prescription medications. So I love finding natural ways to deal with any issues whenever possible. While that sometimes comes in the form of a visit to the chiropractor or homeopathic drops, my eyes are always open to new ways.

Before having children, I never realized how many pairs of shoes they would need! It's crazy how fast those little feet grow. When our first was a newborn, it was hard to find small enough shoes. As she grew, I was forever having to buy her new ones as she moved up in sizes. Now with five little kiddos, the ever-changing cycle of shoes, feet growing, and new shoes is quadrupled.

Once our babies start on table food, I pretty much eliminate all baby food (except breast milk) and serve them what we are eating. For most of our kids, this begins at about 9 months old. But sometimes, the hardest part of the transition is finding proper dishes, silverware, and accessories that actually work!
