My two year old daughter loves to watch cartoons. I am wary about what sorts of shows I let her watch, and for how long. We get PBS where we live and the only cartoons we allow her to watch on TV come from PBS. We appreciate that if she is going to be spending time sitting down and watching TV that she is at least learning while she is watching. Her favorite shows right now are Super Why and Wild Kratts.
