Congrats Becky, I emailed you.

I'll be honest. I get a bit annoyed when I watch a childrens' television channel with kids, and have to listen to 8 ads during a 30 minute cartoon. My main issue with the ads is they make the toys out to be so much cooler/better than they really are, but the kids don't realize that they are glammed up to seem so cool, so they want all the stuff anyway. However, I can say from experience that pillow pets aren't one of those over-hyped toys. They really are a great toy for kids that are reasonably Read more [...]

I'm sure you are all familiar with Hasbro and their awesome toys! They make so many great toy lines, including littlest pet shop. I remember my cousin playing with littlest petshop toys when we were little, and now my 7 year old little sister loves them too. My sister owns all kinds of animals from littlest pet shop, and a daycare center and other items as well. However, she didn't own any of the blythe loves littlest petshop sets that are now being made. Needless to say, when Blythe arrived in her Read more [...]

Greenleaf gifts is a great company to go to for gifts for women or teen girls, or for stocking stuffers. I was sent three items from green leaf gifts for review. The first item I received was room spray in silver spruce. I've had room spray in the past that was very faint smelling so I would spray a ton each time I used it, and then the container would get used up quickly. Definitely not the case with greenleaf's room spray. In fact, it requires just a tiny bit and it's hard for me to remember not Read more [...]

I love candles and making my house smell great. Who doesn't? I also love to give candles as gifts because almost everyone loves a great candle. I often give candles to my sisters and other women or teen girls who end up on my Christmas list. I was sent several awesome smelling products to review from bridgewater candle company. One item I received was a box of spiced cider scented tea lights. I absolutely LOVE apple cider and these tea lights smell amazing! I don't usually have a lot of need for Read more [...]

In the past week I have had issues with wordpress four times. What happens is I write out a blog post, and then go to add images. If I add an image say 1/4 of the way down the post, then the top 1/4 of the post will disappear. Or if I add it 3/4 of the way down, then sometimes the bottom 1/4 will disappear. Anyone else having this issue, or know how to avoid it? I assume that if I add images and then the text, that it might prevent the issue, but it's hard for me to know where I want to place the Read more [...]

Today I have a great stocking stuffer idea for you all! As a kid, I didn't like pizza. I did however, love making pizza. For me, it didn't matter if I wanted to eat whatever we were making, I just wanted to help make it. From my experience, most kids enjoy helping out in the kitchen. I love having kids help me out in the kitchen, because they enjoy it and it can be turned into an educational experience so easily. For little kids, they can help count out how many cups have been poured into the bowl. Read more [...]

Until recently, my hair went well past my shoulders, to around mid back. I had gotten in the habit of using one towel for my hair and one for my body, because if I used the towel for my hair it would be sopping wet and wouldn't do any good for drying off the rest of me. However, I didn't like using two towels every time I took a shower. So when I heard about the turbie twist, a special towel designed for drying your hair, I was definitely interested in trying it out. I knew that it was shaped Read more [...]
