I'm part of an Etsy team called tradaholics. I just joined a couple of weeks ago so my first real tradeaholics event was today, at the trading frenzy. How it worked was there was a list of 11 shops who started off. and to get put on the list, we had to trade with someone already on the list. So then anyone after that who wanted on the list could trade with any of the original 11 or anyone who had already traded with one of those 11 and gotten themselves added to the list. so the list just grew Read more [...]

For those of you who don't know, Lou Designs is, in her sisters' words "a mix of old not so famous quotes, new sayings by Lou and paintings by Lou." What stands out the most to me about the site, is the unique way that Lou draws people. Here are a few examples I really like her style. They seem a little 'dark' but cute at the same time. I love it! a lot of the items on Lou Designs are themed around the author Jane Austen, who is Lou's favorite author. Jane Austen is most well known Read more [...]

Looks amazing, doesn't it? & I bet it seems even better when I tell you it's Carmel Apple scented! Heathen's Hearth did a threadkiller contest on the etsy forums that I won! The prize was any bar of soap from their shop. I picked The carmel apple soap pictured above. It smells absolutely GREAT. My boyfriend literally said "That soap smells SO good, that there's no WAY it actually works. If all soap could smell that good and still work like soap, why wouldn't ALL soap be scented like that?" Later Read more [...]
