Swaddling is great when you find something that really works for you and your baby. I've heard many moms complain about how their baby unravels the blanket so quickly, so they have to be re-wrapped all the time. That's where Woombie comes to the rescue. Woombie is a unique type of swaddling blanket that is much like footed pajamas, except without the feet and arm holes. You lay baby in and zip it up, without the frustration of the baby being able to undo the swaddle. The material has some give to Read more [...]

I've grown fond of the gumdrop pacifiers that hospitals send home with new parents. They have two small holes on either side of baby's mouth, and I learned that they make great 'holding spots' for two fingers, to hold the pacifier in a babys mouth. It's so frustrating when baby wants the pacifier, yet sucks on it so hard that it pops out of their mouth. Then, their fine motor skills haven't developed enough for baby to retrieve the pacifier. So if you're like me, you wind up finding those two holes Read more [...]

I love the feeling of a brand new outfit, but hate paying more than I should. That's why I love finding places like gojane, where you can find adorable affordable teen clothing and accessories. I was lucky enough to receive a pair of jeans from GoJane for review, and I love them! I was sent the belted five pocket skinny jeans. They are a great basic pair of skinny jeans with a little bit of fading. I ordered my usual jean size and when they arrived I thought they looked small. I was bummed. Read more [...]

39 dollar glasses? As in...eye glasses? Yep! 39 dollar glasses is an online eyewear company that is run by two eye doctors. Their glasses aren't 80's styles either, and yes they include the prescription lenses in the cost. I was sent a pair for review, and found a pair for just 39 dollars. I wanted several add ons, and the total was just 100 dollars. At 39dollarglasses.com I can get lots of add ons and still pay just 1/3 of what I've paid in the past. The selection of frames is great, and unlike Read more [...]

Calling all crunchy mamas! affordable cloth diapers. By super affordable I mean 10.00-15.00. They basically make two types of cloth diapers, they have champs and regular diapers. Champs costs 15.00 and are innovative in several ways. They have tons of snaps, allowing the diaper to fit from birth to potty, and even allowing the waist straps to be folded over and snapped for newborns. They also have double leg gussets, which help prevent leaks even on babies with skinny thighs. Their other diapers Read more [...]

For many moms, swaddling is a good friend that allows them to sleep more at night. For the first couple of weeks of life, regular receiving blankets work great for swaddling, but all too quickly babies get too big to be swaddled with receiving blankets and goodbyes are said to swaddling. Unless mom and dad know that Swaddle Designs makes big receiving blankets for swaddling, making them a great option for swaddling bigger babies. A popular baby brand sells receiving blankets that they say are 'generously Read more [...]

Having a great baby carrier is one of the many baby neccesities. There are so many out there to choose from that it can make your mind spin. However, one of the things I look for in any baby or childrens item, is it's ability to be used across a variety of ages. So many products out there are only useful for the first six months of a babys life, and are then deemed worthless. This is true for some baby carriers as well. Not the boba! The boba has an awesome weight range of 15-45lbs. Meaning, for Read more [...]
